My functioning Rock Band/DT-1 MIDI mappings: The software is, after all, made for Rolands very cheapest low-end drumset. Though - the pedal support only the chick and not the splash, and only one zone per pad - but that was expected. (The hihat pedal supports open, closed and chick - any heel splashes are ignored.) And my drum kit.Įverything just works: Snare, tom1, tom2, tom3, kick, crash, ride, hihat, hihat pedal open, hihat pedal closed, hihat pedal chick. Oh well - I'm off to play a bit with the software. The default mapping was a bit off - the hi tom head mapped to the mid tom head and vice versa - the rims mapped to the correct heads.īut - I had the same problem with Rock Band, and I had made a kit with specific MIDI mappings for just that, where both the head and rim of the same pad was mapped to the same MIDI note - and when I selected my "Rock Band" kit, it worked straight out of the box.Īs I had already installed ASIO4ALL, configuring the system was a breeze. Installation went without a hitch on my 64-bit Windows 7 (the license key is case sensitive, though).
